    • PROGRAM ASSISTANT- Casual Position -- Two days per week                                                                                                                            Liberty Manor Adult Day Services, a subsidiary of Families United Network, Inc., is seeking a Program Assistant to support the needs of the senior participants who are in our care.

    • Requirements:
      -High school diploma or GED equivalent
      -One or more years of related experience working with individuals in a health care or social service setting
      -Sensitivity to service population's cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
      -Eligibility under current Pennsylvania legal and regulatory requirements
      -Valid PA Driver's License

    • Responsibilities:
      -Meet all applicable licensing regulations and responsibilities in meeting the needs of the participants
      -Maintain the safety and protection of all participants and staff
      -Provide personal care and assistance to participants in the center
      -Assist with administering the facility's program objectives and activities
      -Participate in the development of Individual Care Plans and follow through of daily care management, review, and revision to maintain up-to-date plans; manage adherence to state and local regulations
      -Promote an environment in which participants can practice behaviors which are acceptable and appropriate, individually and in a group
      -Ensure that all staff and participants model good hygiene/infection control procedures
      -Manage the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive needs of each participant
      -Maintain daily open communication with families/care givers
