Balanced and Restorative Justice Programming (BARJ):
The Balanced and Restorative Justice program has been developed to assist delinquent residents in achieving identified goals in the areas of community protection, offender accountability, and competency development. The program incorporates Basic Program components, as well as distinct learning objectives to address victim impact, community service projects and restitution, to promote offender rehabilitation and competency development, and discharge planning to encourage a positive adjustment in the community. This program is beneficial for non-violent delinquent youth who will benefit from a community environment, as opposed to secure treatment.
