Ashler Manor

Ashler Manor is situated on 33 acres in the heart of north central Pennsylvania. The campus-like environment provides our residents with a safe atmosphere conducive to the therapeutic process. Our Virtual Tour provides an inside look at our campus and facilities. The facility also provides an ideal setting for residents to take advantage of the many community resources that are available to meet their social, recreational, and educational needs. The program site location is accessible to transportation, community amenities, and cultural opportunities.

Ashler Manor operates within a Reality Therapy/Choice Theory theoretical orientation. Our system of services empower residents to identify appropriate actions to satisfy one or more of their basic psychological needs. Residents acquire the tools to understand natural consequences for their action and learn more effective and responsible behavior to meet their needs.

Referral & Admissions

Adolescent females ages 12 to 18 are referred by Pennsylvania’s County Children and Youth or Juvenile Probation agencies. Residents referred for admission generally have a history of drug and alcohol abuse, sexual abuse, incorrigibility, truancy, anger management issues, depression, parent/child conflict, or lack of structure in their home environment. Ashler Manor also accepts residents whose living conditions in the natural home present them to be at an intolerable level, or where either a full or partial loss of parenting rights have been assessed by the Court System.
