At the time of your referral, please have ready the information required to complete the referral form. Background information, such as a recent psychological or progress report is generally requested to be faxed for review.
A pre-placement interview is generally conducted by professional staff prior to admission for residential care clients. Due to the nature of the referrals for shelter care and diagnostic evaluations, an interview is not required for these programs.
Admission decisions are based in part on the ability of the individual to adjust to the group living environment, the affect the individual and the group will have on one another, the quality of previous placements, the results of the interview (if applicable), and if service needs can be addressed.
