Home Study Services
For those of you that are just starting to explore your adoption options, we at Families United Network assure you that we want your adoption plan to succeed. Completing the home study process is a necessary first step as you start on your adoption journey.
Families United Network staff are happy to provide home study services to Pennsylvania families adopting domestically or internationally, using our agency or other placement agencies throughout the United States.
Although there are a series of questions we must cover to comply with state and federal adoption laws, we want the home study meeting to be educational and interactive, so we will get to know you, as well as provide you with helpful adoption, parenting, and related information and resources.
Typically, within six weeks of the home study interview a draft will be forwarded to you for your review. After the necessary modifications to the report are completed and we have received the required documents to support the information in the home study report, multiple notarized copies will be released to you. Families United Network, Inc. will forward the additional notarized home study reports to the proper United States Citizen Immigration Services (USCIS) office, the primary placing agency, and/or the National Benefits Center, based on the family's request.
It is important for you to know that all personal discussions with our client families throughout the home study process are kept strictly confidential, consistent with our Privacy Policies.
